St. George's is the capital and largest city of Grenada. The city is surrounded by the hillside of an old volcanic crater and located on a horseshoe-shaped harbour. It is a popular Caribbean tourist destination, and was first settled in 1650. It had a population of 33,734 as of the 2012 census.
