Tallahassee is the capital city of the U.S. state of Florida and the seat of Leon County, housing the Florida State Capitol and Supreme Court along with nearly thirty state agency headquarters. It is a prominent college town, home to Florida State University, Florida A&M University and Tallahassee State College. Located in the Big Bend and Panhandle regions of North Florida, it is known for its hilly terrain and canopy roads.
