Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, commonly shortened to PACA and sometimes known as Region Sud, is one of the eighteen administrative regions of France, located at the far southeastern point of the mainland. Its prefecture is Marseille, and a 2023 figure recorded a population of 5,218,960 across a total area of about 31,400 square kilometers.
