Utah is a landlocked state in the Mountain West subregion of the Western United States, one of the Four Corners states sharing a border with Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, and also bordering Wyoming, Idaho and Nevada. Admitted to the Union in 1896 as the 45th state, its capital is Salt Lake City.
