Antigua and Barbuda is an archipelagic country in the Caribbean composed of Antigua, Barbuda and dozens of smaller islands, with a total area of about 440 square kilometers. It gained independence from the United Kingdom on 1 November 1981. Its capital and largest city is Saint Johns.
