Ethiopia is a landlocked country in the Horn of Africa, bordered by Eritrea to the north, Djibouti to the northeast, Somalia to the southeast, Kenya to the south, South Sudan to the west, and Sudan to the northwest. Along with Liberia, it is one of only two African countries never to have been fully colonised; Italy never managed to secure the country in its totality, due to resistance. Its capital is Addis Ababa.
